surface silver keyboard with surface pro 4
2 of 2 found this helpful Pros:
1) lightweight and compact
2) well designed
3) really enjoy to type on it, to touch those keys
4) the only usb available on SP4 is free to use
Cons:
1) experience some problems with connectivity. If I turn on my surface pro 4, i need to wait extra 7 seconds before i would be able to type password, cause pairing between PC and keyboard take a while. And i heard keyboard doesn't work in Bios whatever this Bios is. Sometimes i loose connection (if i stop working for 15 minutes, i guess) and again it takes 7-10 seconds to reconnect the keyboard. So, connection is little bit unstable. But i heard this is the problem of all bluetooth keyboards

great product but unstable connectivity
Pros: the only usb port available on my Surface pro 4 is free to use; well designed, really like to use; looks like battery lasts long;
Cons: unstable connectivity (it take time to connect Bluetooth device to SP4 and connection can be lost spontaneously after 15minutes of not using - looks like this is issue of soft or hardware on my SP4); don't work in bios (who needs it?); not sensitive enough (it's hard to work in Paint); blue light is constantly blinking which rises concerns about longevity of battery life (don't know exactly - only use it for 1 month); and battery is not rechargeable (or should it be?).
But in conclusion, i really like those microsoft products - surface keyboard and mouth silver. It's all about compromises and many of "cons" i listed above are side effects of wirelessness.
