For a back up
For consistent use in a professional office, this is probably not the instrument of choice. The steel won't hold up to regular autoclaving and the springs are thin and do stay connected. The bottom cutting edge is wider and more blunt than it should be so I reshaped it with a grinder and now it will function well. It will be good as a back up and for the cost, it's a good value.
