This USB charger has ONE MORE PORT than my old pluggable play unit : )
Your first impression will be: This is a nice, well made Charger.
This is my second to be used at my overseas location. No need to pack it up when leaving and it's there and waiting upon my return.

Internal or external use as a backup - Drive is excellent selection
The 7200 RPM drives retrieve data faster than standard 5200 RPM drives. Western Digital site has extensive information and shooting software.
I say SHOULD because I believe the drive is used as a backup and limited to the speed of the my USB connection. - This drive should be an excellent replacement for an older or defective internal SATA dirve.
Used a Western Digital "PASSPORT" 250GB for backups and travel and has functioned flawlessly for 3 years. I assume the new drive will function even better.
Put the drive in a "cheep" ooops that's chicken talk,,,, cheap,, USB SATA enclosure, both have preformed with NO PROBLEMS.

Much better than expected based on the price.
The hinged clear plastic cover over the scale protects the buttons and screen from damage. Buttons have a good "feel'.
