Works Well...

This could not be any simpler to use. The lens has a very short focal length and must be held steady to use for photography. However, I have used it as a strong magnifier to look at tiny objects using the camera screen without taking pictures. Because the lens is plastic, care must be used in handling. Works great if you are not expecting microscope quality.

Be sure to measure the diameter of any existing pole...

The PROS: It appears to be well-made. I like having the option of the LOW or High illumination setting or even the OFF switch. I like the large solar panel on the top. I like the shape of the bulb. The lamp itself is a great piece! The CONS: It turns out that I have a 4-inch diameter pole instead of 3 inches so I cannot mount it where I needed it. I can only hope I'm able to find a 4-inch to 3-inch reduction piece to mount it. It comes with a wall-mount but that won't work where I need it. So, I have a nice solar lamp ...unmounted! UPDATE 02/02/2023: I purchased the brighter bulb and what a difference that made! The illumination is really bright. I got the light mounter and we've been using it for some months. I am VERY HAPPY with the quality of the product and the length of time it runs. This is THE BEST SOLAR-POWERED LIGHT I have used.
