Higher end silicone half face mask. It is more comfortable than the more basic ones for extended wear.

Flagship Camera for a Reason
This was Canon's flagship camera from 2012-2015. One of the main differences with the 1D series vs the 5D series is that the 1D cameras use two digic processors (one for AF, and one for imaging) while the 5D series only uses one for both AF and imaging. This single change results in huge AF speed and accuracy improvements which are important for fast-paced action.
