Birder's secret weapon
I love shooting birds, that camera coupled to the great 70-300 Nikkor VR f:4,5-5.6 which, with the crop factor, gives the equivalent of a 189-810mm zoom is a real secret weapon, light, stable, very hand shootable. Amazing combination. No more lugging an artillery piece, just a nice light bazooka. I really love that little VR2, it is loaded with serious features, fits well in the hand, a real dandy for one who does not want to break his back or the bank.

A birder's sniper rifle
