Class 3 Hitch for Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

I like the looks of the Curt trailer hitch and it appears to be solid. I can’t give it a 5 rating because mounting ears are bent in a total of 3/4” which prevents it from going over my Jeeps frame. I tried bending the 1/4” thick plates out with a bottle jack but it just springs back. Wandercarparts says they are sending a replacement but I have not seen it yet. The installation procedure that Curt provided leaves out a lot of details and has you doing a few things that you don’t have to. They need to add a comment that you need an impact wrench to remove the existing bolts and also that disconnecting the muffler helps access a few bolts.

Rope Operated Chainsaw

Worked great in removing several oak limbs today that were 3-4" in diameter and roughly 20 feet. The actual limb cutting took about 5 minutes each. The only problem I had was getting my pull rope tossed up and over the limbs. Someone needs to make sort of a cheap harpoon gun to launch the rope which I will probably be making in the near future. I tied a 10 Crescent Wrench to my rope to help toss it over the limbs.
