This album is great for kids! Very smart and funny!
I bought this album for my six-year old niece as a Christmas present. I had purchased another They Might Be Giants album, "Flood," for her last year and she loves it, listens to it every day. She was very excited to receive her new CD of theirs, "No!"
I started listening to TMBG in high school. They are very funny and intelligent. Their music is positive without "talking down" to little kids, and their bizarre sense of humor can be appreciated by all ages. Furthermore, the educational edge they sometimes take with songs like "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" and "Mammal" makes these albums all the more appealing as a gift for young children.

Would Have Chosen a Different Textbook
I bought this for an engineering class. These authors make learning difficult material even more challenging. The text is extremely long-winded, and they throw in a ton of mathematical proofs that just make things more confusing. I know it's an engineering textbook, but the concepts in each lesson could be easily explained in two or three paragraphs, rather than the four pages they use to explain things in the most roundabout way possible.
To add to this, the sample problems are few and do little to explain what we are looking for and how to go about getting there. Without a good instructor who goes through a lot of problems, you will likely be lost.
Detailed illustrations and step-by-step instructions on approaching these problems would make this book much better.

Good iPod, but only accepts MP3 format
Got this to replace my old 4th generation iPod Nano. Nothing to complain about with the general operation and sound quality. My only gripe might be that whereas I could easily load .wma and .ogg music files onto my old iPod, this newer generation doesn't want to accept anything but MP3s. I've only started using the iPod, so I'm looking for a workaround, but the older generation was much easier.
