Go with the OEM part
Go with the original Whirlpool part. Our first try with a substitute did not work.

Fixed my ice problem but first one only lasted two years.
This is the second one I have purchased. Both fixed my problem but the first one only lasted about two years. I did not diagnose the specific reason for the failure of the original or replacement.

A great substitute for a vintage relay
Just what I needed for a motorcycle horn relay. Researching part numbers over the years any properly configured 12v 30amp relay will work for me.
Just had to trim the plastic tab to fit the relay block.
