Nice accent to the steering wheel

Star Wars aside, it's a nice laptop
3 of 3 found this helpful The good: the guts. Respectable specs. Good processor, 1tb hard drive (nice!), built-in wireless-AC and bluetooth 4 (saves usb ports), Native resolution of 1920x1080 (woof).
The 'Eh': Keyboard sucks (common laptop issue). Recommend a USB keyboard. Not sure if it's backlit. Could use it.
Not a fan of Windows 10, so I rolled back. Gotta jump through hoops with drivers to get Win7 working on it. Speakers are weak, but that's common to many laptops.
The Bad: The Windows 10 Recovery media created with the HP software did not work. When I attempted to restore Windows 10, the system rejected the backup as invalid. Way to go HP. But it ended up being a good thing, as it gave me the time I needed to get working Win7 drivers.
