Excellent Door Alarm & Alert System for Deliveries and possible intruder alerts--Great price!
This is an excellent product at a great price, with fast shipping. There are many choices for rings/alerts/alarms for this device, including some simple 2-note "ding-dong" doorbell chimes, the Westminster Cathedral bell chimes tune, and many other musical chimes selections, including well-known classical music melodies and much more. You can also set this device for silent alerts, which include flashing colored lights, or a steady-shining bright white light. The sensor-transmitter will transmit over a great distance, even from all the way over to the other side of the house from where the receiver-alarm unit is located.
I like that both the receiver and the sensor-transmitter(s) in this set use standard, easy to find batteries (AA and AAA) and that the batteries last for a really long time (as the description accurately says.)
This system alerts us when a package or delivery arrives so that we can immediately pick it up off of the porch before someone else might be able to see it and steal it. And, if groceries or take-out food are delivered to us, we can get the delivered food immediately and quickly put it where it belongs, such as in the refrigerator or in our mouths (delivered take-out food), etc.
The sensor-transmitters' brackets are very easy to mount, either using the strong double-sided tape and/or the 2 wood screws (all of which are included with this set.) The receiver has a stand that allows it to be placed on top of any flat surface anywhere in your home. The receiver's alarm chime is nice and loud, and can easily be heard from anywhere in your home if you place it in a central location. The receiver unit can either be powered by batteries or by a USB power cable. (I only use batteries with both my sensor-transmitter units and my receivers, but the batteries in all of these last a really long time, even if you leave them on all the time (as we do.)
The sensor-transmitters each come with a mounting bracket that allow you to adjust the angle of the unit so that it will detect movement from your choice of a smaller area or a larger area that is in front of it. (We have the one on our front porch pointed almost straight down so that it only picks up movement that is on our front porch.
You can easily turn of the receiver unit at night so you won't be awakened during the night, if you only want to use it for delivery alerts, or you can also put it on one of the silent alerts that uses lights only, with no chiming alert sounds. Or, you can leave the system on all the time in order to also use it to detect possible intruder alerts. My wife and I also have one of the sensor-transmitters mounted up high between our two garage doors, which alerts us to when one of us leaves (by car) and again when one of us has returned home, and it also alerts us when someone pulls up into our driveway, close to our house.
There are products that are similar to this one that are much more expensive, but I can't imagine one being any better than this. And, as I said, the price is right.

Excellent small radio/music player--I'm very pleased
This small radio has a surprisingly BIG sound, and is true stereo sound and pretty high-fidelity, especially considering the size. (I'm a professional musician, so I'm really picky about good sound quality.) The FM radio reception is outstanding. It picks up radio stations very strongly, even ones far away, and even if you don't extend the antenna! You can scan for radio stations when you first use the radio feature, and then use the program number shortcuts to quickly change back and forth between your favorite radio stations. It will remember the last station you listened to, and will automatically receive that station when you turn on the radio function. The design is well thought-out. The light-up display is large and very easy to read, and the buttons are simple and easy to use. I really like the rotary dial volume control, which lets you set the volume exactly where you want it. And, the headphone jack is great for private listening.
It seems to work for a very long time on one charge. I've been using it a lot, and haven't even had to re-charge it again yet. I haven't yet used the other playback functions (bluetooth, USB in, TF/micro SD card in) because I mostly wanted to use this for its radio functions, but I'm sure those will work great also.
This makes a great portable stereo music device, but it would also make a great radio/MP3 player for a bedside night-stand, kitchen, or just about any other room. It sounds great and yet takes up very little space. I highly recommend it!

Great Mute Holder, Great Value
Great product: You need a mute holder that holds 4 mutes, especially for playing in big bands and jazz quintets and such. The smallest diameter mute holding ring should be a bit larger, though (even for trumpet mutes), as it tends to grab your mute's corks if you remove the mute too fast. Other than that though, very good, very useful for quick mute changes especially, and a good value.
