Suggested improvement !
The rubber ring supplied was just a little too tight for the 55mm hole. It was impossible to squeeze the clock into the hole as the 'ring' had the effect of forcing the clock back out again. I solved my problem by using three small self-adhesive pads spaced equally around the perimeter - result !!!
I required the clock for a ceramic carriage clock, in which I suspect the hole may have been less than perfectly symmetrical ( i.e. slightly conical), which combined with the glazed surface prevented the clock insert from staying in position. However, a little imagination was all that was needed and my clock now looks just fine..
The clock itself seems to be of very good quality with a substantial feel to it.

Delighted.
Much the best I have seen, having returned two to other suppliers when found unsatisfactory. Have recommended this to friends with Dolce Gusto Machines
