An Effective Remote Control Device
A simple, but effective way to set up a remote switch. Needs to be protected from getting wet but I used a heavy "baggie" around mine and I can turn on our outdoor driveway lights when I am expecting guests instead of having them on all night. I keep the remote next to our thermostat so the lights get turned off at the same time I turn down the thermostat at night.

Not An Exact Replacement for Canon ET-83C Hood
I wanted a white hood rather than the black color of the Canon original that just looks ugly. This hood fits perfectly and is nicely finished. However, the Canon original is constructed with a black flocking on the interior surface that will cut sun glare from reflecting from those surfaces. I was disappointed to find that although this hood has a black interior surface it lacks that extra glare protection of Canon's original.

Helps To Control Your Camera
I find that this hand strap arrangement greatly stabilizes my hand-holding of the camera. If you really cinch it up it can make it a bit awkward for your index finger to reach some of those camera selection buttons at the top right of the camera. But, work with it for a while and I think you will really like it.
I paired this hand strap with Cotton Carrier's belt holster. Takes the weight off your neck and puts it on your belt. I love it and I think you will too.
