Very good second-hand purchase
My only concern was that, since it was a second-hand purchase, the DVDs wouldn't be playable, but they were. One disc needed cleaning, but that's all.

Good quality, good price, giving new life to an old laptop
Good price, good product (so far). I've used it as a replacement bootable drive for an old R930 Toshiba laptop. I had to format it (using Rufus) as an MBR/CSM drive, because it wouldn't boot as UEFI, but once I did that, it's been fine.

Works well so far, but it's early days!
1 of 1 found this helpful Do not attempt to install this if you are not reasonably adept at opening laptop cases and have a set of tamper-proof Torx screwdrivers and some plastic spudgers! There's an online video suggesting that the replacement takes five minutes, and that's nonsense - allow at least an hour unless you are an expert. Also make sure you get the right battery for the particular version of XPS13. Make sure you can open the case and see how to remove the battery before you decide to buy.
With these caveats, it appears to be excellent, but I've only taken it out for one full-day trip so far, and I decided to recharge it while eating supper.
