...Because I'm Happy!
I discovered Author Tulku Thondup when my Dad was dying. His books are Wonderfully written & explained many Tibetan Buddhism practices & beliefs. I have been collecting copies of all his books since then & it seems as if he's writing to me, Personally. His insights about whatever we all go through in this life are explained in a way that you're able to Use his teachings. People may think that the "World is out to Get Them" but he shows how we all go through similar challenges in our Lives & how to use Spiritual Practices to not just help ourselves, but to benefit others as well. I hope you will find these teachings a Lifeline or Map to continue to learn & grow during your Spiritual Journey & find Peace, Comfort & Compassion. Place these "Tools" you learn about on your "Tool Belt" & carry them with you, knowing that True Kindness & Generosity of Spirit are alive & doing better than ever. The teachings aren't Dull or Boring & aren't hard to "Get" With Great Respect & Love, I hope his work will help you as much as it's helped me.

Hey, Hogwarts! Move over! There's another Magical World that needs shelf space!
I bought this in a supermarket & after I read it, it disappeared! I suspect it was co-mingled with the library books & donated. I loved it so much that I bought it again on Ebay, along with all of her other books. I'm anxiously awaiting the next book which is due to be released later this year. It's a great book to share with young adults, which is where it's located in the library. I'm always pleased to find a new author & storyline that captures my imagination. And this author doesn't disapoint!

The Original Extraterrestrial Romance Book!
I discovered this book in 1976. Before, Romance books were very few & far between. Barbara Cartland was about as racy as things would get. This book was pivotal in expanding the Romance genre as well as introducing the idea that True Love may indeed be "Out of this World". It set a precedent for new story lines & enveloped a new group of readers who were tired of reading the same old story over & over. We were asked to examine the question of whether you would move to a whole new Planet because that's where your own true love lives. It took an established author to break through the dull, prim & proper image of what love should be & allowed other writers to further expand the Romance genre to encompass what love Could be. A timeless classic you just have to read because we've come a long way since, girlfriends!
