Still stuck!
Applied glue between sole and shoe clamped in place for 48 HRS. so far so good and I wear the shoes every day would highly recommend!

Did not work for me!
Was unable to use the spade plugs (8), the tabs that bend down to secure the wire in place is of VERY thick metal and I could not get the tabs bent over the wire to anchor in place. I used wire pliers and even a pair of channel locks then tried vice grips but still could not get the tabs bent over enough to secure the 14ga. wire I was using in place, the plugs may be ok for much thicker wire but did not work for my application...
