It serves its purpose
The Memorex dvd case inserts serve my purpose exactly, namely creating insert labels for my DVDs.

DR. SLUMP -- Insanity Prevails!
As a long-time fan of the animae series by Akira Toriyama, made way before he came up with DRAGONBALL, I loved the craziness of the series. It is open season on almost everything, from science-fiction, monsters, both familiar and original, people (the town barber happens to look like Clint Eastwood with hints that this is what 'Dirty Harry' became when he retired. All set in a town which is located on an island located, in my opinion, somewhere between The Bermuda Triangle and The Twilight Zone.
I also knew of and have the theatrical feature that was done but did not know about the various special videos and specials.
That is, until the set turned up on e-bay...subtitled. I loved it...and really hope that more of the series, subtitled in English, will turn up.

B-western fun with a different type of hero!
In the b-westerns, the good guys usually wore the white hat and even light colored outfits. But once in awhile the hero wore black from his Stetson to his boots. One of them as Lash La Rue,
a western hero with a difference. Besides using his guns and fists, Lash also used his skill with a bullwhip to bring down the bad guys.
Comic relief was more than ably provided by veteran film comedian Al St. John, who became one of the top western sidekicks in b-westerns, sporting a beard and helpingto dispense justice as "Fuzzy Q. Jones". St. John's onscreen acrobatics at times were amazing and always helped provoke the laughs.
The best ones that Lash starred in were produced by Ron Ormond, and for the first time, what appear to be original prints were used as the source material in this set. Some of the stories were unusual (two of them would appear in Vol. 2). So just sit back, maybe have a cold drink along with a bag of popcorn and forget about movies with a message. It's time to ride the wild west with whip-cracking Lash and his partner Fuzzy.
