Makes great biltong but a bit frustrating to use

There is no doubt that this biltong maker produces really nice biltong. I have loved using it. My only negative comment is that the plastic rods which run across the maker and upon which the meat is hung to dry tend to pop out of the small holders on each side if you need to reach in at all to move something for any reason. Once this happens the meat on that rod falls to the bottom and it is difficult to extract and re-hang without knocking more rods off at the same time. Other than that, love using this maker and the biltong even more! I also really liked that there was a complimentary bag of biltong spice mix included. A really nice touch. Thank you!

size not specified and uncomfortable

It is a small/medium size, which was not specified in the advertisement. It is a little small for me. It is also quite uncomfortable after about an hour of shooting as the wrist strap presses uncomfortably at the point where my hand joins my wrist. I think maybe the cushioning is insufficient or it could be because it is a bit small for me.
