Excellent product with a little experience
This product works very well once you understand its settings. The neoprene liner in my unit has started to deteriorate with age and had to be cleaned off. It especially caused problems by getting stay little bits on the glass platen. Once I cleaned the glass on both sides it worked much better though with some errors still.
The second problem turned to be caused by the modern paper being too bright for the normal scanning setting. This was fixed by pressing and changing the brightness setting to darker.
It now reads perfectly.
TL;DR clean the glass and change brightness to darken for anything printed in the last 10 years for excellent quality scanning. It does take 30-90 sec to recognize text pet page

Great product but a little complicated
It works very well and does all the features it says. The only problem I've had is a learning curve figuring out how to work the different features. This is definitely a product manual you need to read first.
