Fireball XL5 (2003, DVD)

All 39 episodes of the long lost Fireball XL5 television show that ran on NBC-TV 1963-65. If you're a Boomer and grew up in the 1960's you most likely watched this show on Saturday mornings. As I had not seen the show in over fourty years it was a given I would purchase the set of DVDs. If you are a fan of Gerry Anderson or want to see special effects and how they were done before the age of computers you will enjoy this one. Though some of the aspects of the show may seem quaint today, one must remeber that Fireball XL5 was produced back long before the first Apollo moon missions at a time when just getting a man up there was a major accomplishment. If you watched Fireball XL5 as a kid, or heard about the show from someone who watched it, treat yourself to the whole series. Return to Sector 25 with Steve Zodiac and Fireball XL5

Precision Scale Excellence

Another Great Atlas Product.

Typical excellent Atlas product. Well made, and excellent, colorful graphics, well executed model of a "Steam Era Classic." This 8,000 gallon tank car is a special run for the Atlas "Golden Spike Club", a members only edition, of this attractive model. So, if you want one of these, better move fast, as they'll be gone.
