Great Primer Book for Steady Rhythms
I like the Fingerpower Book for all elementary students. It starts slow introducing younger students to acquiring basic legato rhythms but, quickly starts including basic skills to the older students.

Excellent piano book for younger students!!
John Thompson Easiest Piano Part 1; this book is awesome for younger students. It is colorful with lots of Paz to keep students interested. I have taught lessons for 35 years and this book has been a stable!!

Great for Young Starting students!!
This book, John Thompson Easiest piano course, is awesome for younger students. Moves at a slow pace for them to understand. Don’t use for older elementary students, they loose interest.
