It was worth reading.
The book identifies the lifestyle of Sybil's parents, and why she became so mentally ill. Take away all the insane religious teachings of the time, and all the drugs given to her, she probably would be functioning normal. The book got confusing at times, it is something you need to keep reading and not just read a page or two at a time.
