Razer Kiyo Full HD 1080p Streaming Camera With Illumination

Disappointed for the price, better products in a similar price range from other brands.
Let's start off with the good:
The build quality feels great, and it has a nice weight to it. The mounting arms/flaps are big and sturdy, and just feel nice and overbuilt, in a good way. The camera also looks cool! The built in light is also a plus, and it's cool how it's easily adjusted by turning the ring on the outside of the light. A clever design.
Now for what I don't like:
The built in light is nice, but the image quality is worse than similarly priced models from LG. Don't get me wrong, the image quality is not terrible, and there are other webcams which have worse quality. But for the price, I am disappointed. The LG models I have tried do not actually need a light to get good image quality, while the Razer suffers from poor quality unless the light is on. Also, the controls from within the Razer Synapse app are not as user friendly and intuitive as those on the LG app.
I don't like how I can not adjust the image in the Razer app while simultaneously using the webcam for lets say, a zoom call. Also, integration into Windows is also not as easy as the LG products I have used. One other thing I don't like about the Kiyo is that the low light compensation mode is enabled by default and there is no way to permanently disable it; it resets automatically. When this mode is on, the video from the cam is worse quality in exchange for trying to get a brighter picture.
I am in no way sponsored or supported or even a fanboy of LG, but from personal experience, I know I will buy one of their webcams next time instead of a Razer.

Great value! Smooooth performance.
Excellent phone for the money! Performs flawlessly with no lag. Very nice camera. Great software with clever google product integration. I would say that the Google Pixel phones are the iPhones of the Android phone world. Only bad thing I have experienced is relatively low battery life.
