Best deal for systems supporting 64 Gb or more of RAM
2 of 2 found this helpful I have Two of these now. Highly expandable. used Sandy Bridge Ep CPUs are affordable now and have similar multithreaded benchmarks to current Rizen CPUs. Massive 1300w gold rated psu. Raid card can handle 8 drives. With two on board SATA ports.
Down side is they are power hungry and function as a space heater when running hard.

Great value for old hardware
1 of 1 found this helpful This motherboard fired right up with a pair of Opteron 2384's. Booted Ubuntu with no problems. To boot Windows 7 I needed to enable the hpet (high precision event timer ) option in the bios. Ram is cheap picked up 32 gig for 20$. All the sata and sas ports you could ever need.
The only issues are the eatx board is big and doesn't fit in all server cases without taking out drive cages. The front panel usb and audio headers are not labeled and I had to find the power switch by trial and error.

Best keyboard for big hands and broad shoulders.
2 of 3 found this helpful I'm not a big guy (6' 0" and a 44L), but I hate how my hands are always feeling cramped. Not any more. I can set this keyboard up so the I have 8-9" between my index fingers on the desk and my elbows comfortably on the arm rest. I highly recommend the VIP3 lifters and i even cut two pieces if 1x2 lumber and place under the front of the keyboard giving each half a lot on negative front to back tilt. This really works best if you have low desk height, of course the. You need monitor stands but. They make those too. I try to keep desk highly low and chair high so my elbows bend at 90 or close to it while typing. This is by far one of the most economical ergonomics keyboards available. ( my MS ergo 4000 wins on value this wins con comfort). The shortcut keys are great and the key force is nice and light.
