I enjoy creating. I am a doll seamstress and a pattern designer for dolls. Before I set up my shop I retired from a career as caretaker of special needs children. I try, if possible, to make my doll clothes with no Velcro, snaps, or buttons. all seams are surged and the decorator buttons and bows are very securely fastened. My favorite places to shop are yard sales, thrift stores, and clearance racks in the infant departments. If anyone would like to donate gently used small size baby clothes just info me please in the "contact owner" under my picture. You may see some of your donated items recreated into some stylish doll clothes. This will also help me keep my doll clothes affordable. I have raised 5 children of my own including a special needs set of twins. All have flown the nest and this shop keeps the empty nest syndrome from happening. Also if anyone out there is interested in donating smaller printed fabric in cotton or flannel this too will help to keep the cost down and keep me from shopping at those fabric shops. My mother has an etsy shop called elainespotholders. She would love it if some of you would please leave a like or favorite. She lives with us and at 86 years of age she is still creating, sewing, and designing. Mom passed on the joy of sewing to me at the age of 10. My grandmother, Lodina, was a pattern maker and seamstress and quilter and so was my great grandma Matilda. Well enough about me. Best ever
My grandkids love these Legos their daddy is a jet ski marine mechanic here in the panhandle of Florida they pretend the jet skis need repair and pretend to go to dad's shop to get them fixed.
