Lamy's commitment to form & function
Lamy perfected gravity-driven ink switching with this pen. It operates exceptionally well with consistent precision. They kept the form factor of the 2000 line and added flexibility, convenience & expression. It's top notch design and quality.

If you technically want to own a Lamy -
Simply - it's not Lamy's best effort - But, it's price point bears that out. The design is great. The feel in hand is great. The finished product feels unfinished. The fit and finish isn't finely tuned. It's a Lamy on a budget.
