Still a solid Radar Detector
This may not have all the bells and whistles of newer models. But it works. It's only limitation in my opinion is the range. BUt that becomes more of an issue depending on much over you are doing and how little time you give yourself to react.

Outlet works as advertised and has been reliable and easy to use
4 of 4 found this helpful These just work and the cell phone just works and is pretty clean and easy to use. You can program the Outlet to have a schedule like Timer outlet as well as the ability to turn outlet on and off from anywhere your phone has service. And you can schedule the outlet turn on or off at a certain time. And you can do this as a one off/one time, or you can schedule it over any day of the week.
My only hesitation with this piece of equipment, and so many other pieces of similar internet connect equipment, is you are required to register your equipment with a website. In other words, my commands you sent from your phone goes through this web site and therefore, people have access and information about you and your network at your home or business as well as your activity. I really wish these devices were stand alone and only connected to your network and your cellphone and not through a 3rd party server/vender.
But this is the price we pay for much of this type of equipment at the prices we pay: $8.50 for an outlet that I can control from anywhere in the world.
