Don't buy this if you ever want to clean it.
3 of 3 found this helpful The Compress looked fine on arrival. However, because it was packaged in an unsealed sheath, and it would be placed on the eyes and surrounding face, I went ahead and followed the instructions for cleaning it first. That, unfortunately, resulted in a bad outcome.
Under cold water, a dark fluid immediately eluted from and stained the compress. Once the compress air-dried, it had changed from soft white pads to thin, darkish, hard discs, and not something I would ever want on my face and eyes. I never did get to find out how the compress would have worked if left unwashed.
