Phoenix Standard FOREND Grip RSF20 for Remington 870 20GA Shotgun

Works great, with a little help.

This forend looks great. I had some difficulty installing it on my Rem 870. Once the forend nut was tightened it did not sit straight, and the gun was hard to rack. I finally solved it by installing the slide assembly. Then I installed the piece that was for the Mossberg rifles first. Then the forend, the front spacer and the nut. The spanner supplied with the forend slides over the mag tube to tighten everything in place. Works perfect, the forend no longer is crooked, and works as smooth as an 870 will. I would give it 5 stars but because it was such a pain I did not.

Good but not perfect.

This is a really good idea. I like that it increases the length of pull to near perfect for me. It will need some fitting and sanding to fit perfectly, but it is worth it in the end.

Worked perfect

I installed the spring kit on my American Tactical AR. I followed a video online, which was simple and had it installed in about 15 minutes. Right away I could tell the difference in the trigger pull. I took it out to fire off a few rounds with absolutely no issues. I was using steel jacketed ammo, which can sometimes be funny about the hammer hit. no issues at all. i highly recommend this kit for a quick, inexpensive and easy upgrade.
