Great reading!
I am an ESL tutor, and this book is a valuable asset for me. It helps me to structure classes in a progressive way, that is no intimidating to my students. It makes the class fun and easy.

Great back in the 70's, Great today!
I never saw the movie that this story was written for, but the music was captivating back in the early seventies. The songs were catchy and easy to relate to in real life. Oblio, the main character faced discrimination because he was different. He was banned from his home, along with his dog, Arrow. Together they went on adventure after adventure, overcoming all obstacles and returned home a hero. He was a hero because he showed that everyone had a point and was not going to let anyone throw him away for being different. You have to listen to the songs to appreciate the brilliance of these songs. The movie is geared to young children, but the songs will appeal to any adult. In my opinion, "Get the CD!"
