Bürstenmann Steel Wire Yard Broom, 30 cm

Good for clearing moss off path
Made from beech with steel bristles. Worked great for clearing moss from the path. Bristles can scratch soft cement, but wasn't a problem for me on the path
Metal Drive Cog Shaft Spindle Bearings GTECH AirRam Mk1 spare part
Jul 02, 2019
If you have carpets, don't try to mend the Gtech air-ram, just buy a new cordless hoover
It sounds harsh (and wasteful) but if your home is carpeted, the replacement drive cog will break again very soon and it is easier to buy another hoover. The Gtech is well made but something isn't right as the cog keeps becoming mangled. I have tried the replacement plastic cog, then the replacement aluminium one (both are identical in appearance to the original) and they don't last long. If I'm honest the plastic one lasted longer than the metal one. If the hoover gets something caught in it (or if it catches the corner of a rug) then the screaming starts and it's bye bye cog! If you have wooden floors, then go with the plastic cog as it's quieter than the metal one and the machine will probably work perfectly

4digit Electronic DIY Digital LED Clock Kit Light Control Temperature Green H9Q6
Dec 11, 2017
Good clock but cycling between clock, temp and date every minute is very annoying
Easy to position and solder components to board. Case a little fiddly to assemble, but it fits the board well and looks ok. Operation/setting instructions need reading twice to understand them. Once operational the display is easy to read and auto dim works really well. BUT: it shows the time for 45 secs, then the temperature for 5 secs, then the date for 5s, then the day for 5s. After a while this is really annoying as it happens every minute, 24/7. So if you glance at it when it's dark, is the time 12.08 at night, or is it showing that the date is the 8th of Dec and the time is something else? It shows the day, so if you have Friday as day 5, it shows on the cycle as '-5-' which is pointless! Overall it's a good project for £6 odd, but not convinced it's suitable for everyday use.
