It broke!
Bought this for Christmas and thought the shifter was nice, but the cheap plastic mounting insert would give me trouble. Sure enough it broke in less than 5 months! So now I have a nice paper weight, which is all it's good for! Redesign the insert out of stronger material and it will be worth buying. If you do, please send me one so I can use the shifter.
