Inexpensive and low quality but quite usable
These units are priced to sell. However, the "quality" is a little low. I purchased a number of these for a neighborhood July 4 party and the kids do like to play with them.
My main issue with them is the quality.
Many of them have mold "flash" (sometimes on the launcher handle and sometime on the disc) that I thought might be a "cutting" hazard, so I trimmed it off before letting the kids play with them. The only "failures" I have seen is with the pull string pulling out of the plastic "cup" that you pull on. In these cases, the "cup" molding was a little incomplete, resulting in the hole in the cub being a little larger and allowing the knot at the end to pull through. It was easy to fix by making a bigger knot (or tying the string around a piece of stick, making it too big to pull through the hole).
