1952 Washington commemorative half dollar
This was purchased a while ago, but I remember being very excited when it arrived. It is a very good example of a commemorative half dollar paying tribute to a significant and prominent member of the African-American community. I had only seen photos of this coin before I bought it. The commemorative half dollar is my favorite coin type.

A great historical novel.
I have always had a keen interest in the English Tudor period and this book offers an insight into the characters that a history book does not. They are well-drawn and the interaction between them gives readers a look into the "whys" and not just the "whats". I recommend this book to anyone with a thirst for a more in-depth look into the England in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. I would also recommend the first book in the series, "Wolf Hall".

2013 1 Troy Oz. Canada Maple Leaf 25th Anniversary
This is a great coin. It was a limited edition, beautifully designed and struck. On top of that, my favorite Head of State, Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse!
