2 of 2 found this helpful If you have a small space for your tea kettle, this may not be the right fit for you. But if space isn't an issue, this is a fabulous looking and functioning electric kettle. Very handsome to keep out on the counter! It keeps its promises: temperature gages, exterior warms but not burning to the touch, lights at the base note temperature as the water heats. Love it, and the red is cheery. It's the first thing I reach for in the morning. I use it for drip coffee and tea and couldn't do without it now. Something funny: the bell, which alerts you that the water is ready, sounds like an elevator bell that rings just before the door opens. I get a kick out of that.
