Great replacement for older model
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this one to replace and older model. I like this one better as it is slimmer and less grippy. Also added a feature to yell at me if/when I brush too hard.

Good bargain option
The clamp system isn't as heavy-duty as what is on typical OEM cross bars and the tightening knob is a bit tough to tighten given its large size. I added large-diameter stainless steel washers under the knobs and that seemed to help a little. I haven't yet loaded my kayak or extension ladder on them but they seem to be sturdy enough to get the job done. I know these are not the most expensive option out there and they appear to be fine for my type of use. They are a low-profile style that doesn't extend past the roof rails (at least not by much) which is what I was looking for.
Road noise is very minimal with only a slight "whir" sound that is barely noticeable and not at all annoying (at least not to me anyway). I would recommend them for occasional or light-duty use and would like to see a more substantial clamp mechanism (preferably a larger diameter bolt and a design that uses a tool to tighten to reduce the likelihood of theft - this is very easy to retrofit if you have some basic mechanical knowledge, some tools and a little gumption).
