merits of a track ball
As a person gets older they tend to jerk a little when they move the mouse. Having a track ball you move the pointer with the ball where you want on the screen and click it is done.

I needed q way to keep my litter box closed when I rolled it and put these on the end to clamp it sut and it did a good job.
