Lets Remember the real heros of the West
This book tells a long ignored history that should be a part of everyone's education and book collection, not only when it comes to learning about the settling of the West, but in learning how large a part the Buffalo Soldiers played. I am neither a veteran, nor Black, but the men who comprised the Buffalo Soldiers deserve our long over praise and thanks for their outstanding service to our country. They did more to bringing law, order, and stability to Arizona, and elsewhere, than the over-hyped Wyatt Earp, yet they are rarely heard of or given the credit they are due. This book goes far to rectify that and I highly recommend it.

Deeply researched
I have read many articles and books on what happened in Tombstone, and find this to be the best so far. It covers the the events "before & after" with more depth and info than you will find in other reports. If you are an Old West Buff, and especially if you are a Wyatt Earp follower, this book is a necessary part of your collection.
