Genuinely Impressed
Our original TV remote buttons started to squeak, after an incident when it met with a Gin & Tonic held by my wife. It was not enjoyable listing to a squeak every time we browsed Netflix or turned the volume up and down, so A new remote was very much needed. As I advise in many of my tech reviews, do not buy replacement parts. When you invest in a high spec TV, you can’t cut corners and replace with a £10 copy of the remote.
Sony have created a well designed remote, with the benefits of having shortcut keys for Netflix and Google Play. Even better, you don’t have to sync it with your TV, pop in the batteries and away it goes. You will however need to setup the voice control but takes less than a minute following the guide. Overall, great remote and very reliable.
