Echo Base fly reel.
This is a standard size reel, able to hold about 50 yards of backing and 70' of fly line. The drag is strong and smooth. It seems an excellent reel for large fresh water fish and most salt water fish less than 15 pounds.

Redington SURGE
This is a strongly built, smoothly operating reel. The Surge is smaller than the Behemoth, but still has plenty of room for 250 yds backing and 100' of 12 wt line. The only thing I do not like is that the pawl clicker operates in both directions of reel rotation, instead of only when the line goes out. I guess it is not that big of a deal, but I don't want to hear the reel buzzing when I am reeling in line.
