Design issues
11 of 16 found this helpful This saw has some design issues. First, the trigger handle is too far back which makes it unbalanced. Second, the thumb safety button is annoying to keep pressed in, they should have put a safety switch detent blade in the top of the handle. Lastly, they use a cheap saw chain on it that grabs and jumps. I will replace that with an Oregon chain. I love Dewalt tools and have a shop full of them. But they could have done better on this saw.

Nice kit, bad instructions.
Nice kit and fair price but needs better instructions or a link to a youtube
video showing the kit's use on a standard model jack.
