ebay special - deluxe
- ebay specials come once in a great while, and this one is no exception. the seller listed it as untested and to be honest it is hard to actually know all the ins and outs of a film camera when there is no film and quite possibly the correct lens for the camera. I took a chance and it paid off. it does work in all settings. no problem there.
- this camera does suffer from one canon related design flaw and that has to do with a rubberized bumper for the shutter. this bumper gets a little gooey as the years go by. in turn, this goo gets on the shutter and that affect it's function.
- the upside to all this is there is plenty of DIY information as to how to correct this problem.
- in short, I am pleased with this purchase, the shutter problem is being addressed and as always, life goes on.
