Big, well made
Bigger than expected but well made and large enough to hide blades of bread and carving knives. Front space useful for small paring knives

Solved the problem
The laptop sound output socket was only working on one channel. Repair was likely to prove expensive so I tried this device as a low cost alternative. It works brilliantly, although the sound is a bit harsh to feed direct to headphones. Fortunately we are feeding the signal into a mixer desk so we can adjust the tone.
Having a flexible lead between the USB plug and the audio socket means it is possible to plug things into adjacent USB sockets on the laptop, an added bonus.

Check profile of pillars against existing seat fittings
1 of 1 found this helpful The existing seat fittings have a second groove circumferential machined about half-way down the length. I thought this might not be significant so went ahead and ordered. It turns out that this second groove is what engages with the seat release mechanism so with the new fittings it is only held in place by gravity.
My mistake, should have checked more closely!
