The Movies discontinued
Microsoft Vista does not care for The Movies program, But you can make it work.
Once it starts playing the program moves smoothly... Also, there is no support available.
There is two modes available: one is the main game, starting at the begining of your movie studio. Training actors, building sets, writing scripts, detoxing actors, and shooting your movie... ANd you get to view it!
The Second Mode: Sandbox, You start with everything. A complete movie studio!
I have not used this mode yet... I can imagine if you want to test your directorial skills this may be a good start...

It is a Grade B movie acting at times is stilted. Some of the actors pull it out of the fire.
You may like to listen to the Musical version... Excellent Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds also sold on Ebay

Elastic girl, gotta luv it!
small parts can come off and be a choking hazard.
Quality is good for display.
Parts are difficult to move.
Looks Good!
