Last forever and feel great, too!
These strings sound like nickel roundwounds because that's what they are, but without the high metallic clang. They feel wonderful and slinky. They cost more than uncoated strings but they will easily last as long as 3 or 5 regular sets, so that is value. Plus they don't change tone through a gig or a recording session. Best review I can give is I use these on all of my basses!

fits the need
Nice size and feel. The marker dots are clear from my angle, but fairly discreet, so they don't disturb the look of my all-black bass. There is a bit of a greenish-purple cast to the black color in the knurls, but that's only close up.

Nice sturdy bag, well padded
2 of 2 found this helpful Pretty well built and seems sturdy so far. The subway handle is in the right place, low enough that it's easy to lift with a straight arm. The end-pin rubber feet are a really nice feature, but a pad inside would be nice -- that is definitely the first place the inside lining will wear through. I do wish there were more padding on the divider sheet. Also, the inner bridge and tuner wear pads are on the outside walls as though they expect the basses to be back to back, but I think that would stress the necks at the headstock unnecessarily. The wear pads should both face toward the backpack straps. I would not travel with basses in this bag, but it's plenty protective for getting to gigs in my car.
