Best of the best in water filtration
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the best backpacking/camping/survival water filter you can get. The end.
Over the years I've owned several types but I used this particular model during deployments in the Marine Corps. Works great in harsh conditions. If it can produce drinkable water in one of those "s*hole countries" it will work anywhere. 😎
It is more than adequate on its own but I do suggest the optional carbon filter (sold separately) to make the water taste a little better. If properly taken care of this will last YEARS before needing a new ceramic filter. If you only use it a handful of times a year it will probably last decades. This is money well spent even at full price so if you can find it for under regular retail, pull the trigger and get one. It's well made (Swiss), it's durable, it's compact, it's fantastic.

The Power of Miller
1 of 1 found this helpful When you need anything related to welding a couple names come to mind automatically. There are several in the game, but 1 or 2 are always going to be there. Of those top 2 I'd say Miller is the most recognizable, and for good reason. Quality, longevity, durability, precision. These are qualities found in every. Miller product from their machines to the gear that supports them. This jacket is no exception.
The leather is soft and supple. The expansion panels in the shoulders are nice because it allows more "give" when you find yourself in an awkward welding position. It's not so thick (leather) that the jacket becomes stuffy and feels like it breathes as well as the hybrid jackets that have cloth bodies and leather sleeves. The cuffs around the wrists keep the sleeves from bunching up when you put your gloves on. The collar provides good protection from sparks.
Plus it looks good.
I am highly satisfied with this purchase and the seller was outstanding with both communication and delivery of the item. Highly recommended and I look forward to ordering other supplies from him in the future.
