Nice material good size, odd design
The material is a nice thin mylar sort of material, it fits a cd case a bit loosely though it works for a thinner double digipak. But it seems strange that it opens at the top instead of the side. Without a flap. Might be the best so far, still room for improvement.

Quality resistors, at a price
Allen-Bradley made some of the best carbon comp resistors ever, until the last factory closed nearly 20 years ago. Unfortunately prices are going up, but at least with resistors you know what you're getting, unlike the shenanigans that go on with, oh say, NOS Mullard tubes. While modern 1% metal film resistors are more reliable and accurate in a 1/4W resistor, and an overall better value, there is still something sexy about seeing these little brown cylinders in a build. But make no mistake, at this point you're paying more for that look and less for their function.

Great docking station
1 of 1 found this helpful I got this dock for my W530. I'd been using an aftermarket dock that didn't survive a Win 10 update because of a video driver and was happy to see the prices on these finally in the "easy choice" range. I don't take my W530 on the road much so it generally stays in the dock and I expect this one will last as long as the laptop.
Pros:
- All the ports I need for USB, video, and of course power.
- At around $50 delivered, this is a bargain.
- Key included to lock the laptop into the dock.
Cons:
- Only one USB3 (blue) port, so extra USB3 external drives still need to plug directly into the laptop or run at a slower speed. Will be looking at hubs.
- The seating on the bottom connector isn't ideal, it took me a few tries and is prone to being knocked loose. This was a no-brainer on a similar dock I used a few times at a client's office, somehow this one is temperamental.
