Are these REALLY hot rollers?
These rollers are perfect for the person who likes the look of rollers in their hair. They do not do anything except leave a few crimp marks in the hair after even 45 min. of wear. Nothing happened at other shorter time intervals except frustration by my daughter. It doesn't take much heat to create "beach-y waves". These rollers are not capable of holding heat when in the hair to generate waves. Part of the problem is the core does not remain hot after the roller is placed in the hair. Another issue I noticed to be frustrating is that they are very hard to stick back on the posts. Therein lies the problem: a small metal wedge is expected to hold the entire curler during preheating, then curl the hair. Simply impossible. (I'm a former science teacher and mom of a teenage girl ---double qualified --these rollers are duds.). Didn't pay enough to mess with a return. Lesson learned!
