This line is strong very easy to cast spools really well does not have any memory. I really like this line I was the only person out of four that caught any catfish on that trip. We were all using chubs on a bobber I was the only one using red line. I really think it was the line. I have used red line on my crappy poles and almost always do better then the people with me
