Hours of fun!
If you're new to the Metal Earth kits this might not be a good first one. Try their Black Pearl model. Many of the wee bits on this one are to small to pick up! The finished model is smaller than the palm of your hand. However, even leaving some of the fiddly bits off it's still a nice shiny tiny work of art. Some fun! Warning: if you're not a patient person don't even try one of these. This one took me about 6 very enjoyable hours (but I'm old and shaky). Good luck!

Could be better
The handle assembly is plastic but seems sturdy enough. The hole is too small for honey unless it is warm. The instructions say don't microwave but 30 seconds hasn't damaged it and warms honey up nicely. The hole is so large, however, that warm honey or syrup gushes out if fully open, so a fine touch is needed in order to control the flow. A more tapered stopper would help there. We like melted butter for our waffles and the dispenser works nicely for that too.
The main disadvantage is the difficulty of filling. You must hold a finger on the hole while unscrewing the top and filling. Awkward and messy. It would have been easy to add a flexible seat in the base that would keep the hole closed while the unit is sitting on the reservoir cup. That would be a big improvement. As it is the unit is worth having and the cost quite reasonable.

A whole new art form!
Like other Metal Earth kits, it's really tiny and fairly difficult to assemble. It takes a steady hand, keen eyes and lots of patience. Even more than with other ME kits it's imperative that you follow the instructions for the wing struts very precisely. It's so easy to use the wrong part, or the right part in the wrong orientation. The finished model is fairly fragile, best viewed held in the hand rather than being picked up. Definitely not for most young kids, too frustrating.
